It's got to be a squash of some kind. (?) Squash are notorious cross-breeders.. if there is more than one plant there it could be a novel hybrid. Can they auto-pollinate, or do they need another plant nearby to fertilize and bear fruit?
Bryan, at least, is horrible at sending pictures of Carys and Wynne to grandparents and aunties and uncles. You know this.
