News

As in new stuff; I didn't have my phone/camera at the right times, though, so there aren't any fun pictures.

New thing one:

We had just got up in the morning, and I was dressing Carys. She said something about wanting to ring the door bell ("I ding dong" is how it went, I think.) I told her that we couldn't do that right then and she says, "why?". That was the first one. I got off easy though, because I just told her that it was outside and we had to put our clothes on first and she let it go at that.

New thing two:

Carys has a little balance bike that she loves. The gets really excited to ride it, so we drag it out, and she rides it for, like, 4 feet and then "all done." We were gonna do that, but we never even got that far because she just wanted to run around the yard instead. That is, until Colin came balance-biking along the sidewalk with his mom. They live about 3 blocks away, and when they stopped to chat, I managed to coax C$ onto her bike. Then, she and Colin rode their bikes all the way around the block. From 4 feet to about a quarter mile, just like that. I even had a hard time convincing Carys to head back home.

New thing the third is something you may have heard by now. Carys dropped a deuce in the toilet at daycare. For the older folks reading this, that means she had a bowel movement. We need to step up our potty game at home, I guess.
